SAROSH BAAJ is a Zarathushti prayer for invoking Divine Help with SACRED COSMIC SOUNDS, to invoke and get instant help from #Sraosh #Yazat, the #Commander-in-Chief of The #Almighty #AHURA MAZDA, the King & In-Charge of Planet Earth. Sraosha, is the Angel of Obedience, divine manifestation of obedience and inner-hearing, within man. Sraosha is the Guardian of the departed, guardian of all human souls. In Astronomy, Sraosha is synonymous to the unwavering Pole Star, due to his unwavering Obedience to the Eternal Law of Mazda-the law of Asha! Sraosha Ranks immediately after the Holy Immortals - Ameshaspentas. Described in the Gathas as Mazda’s greatest Messenger and obedient servant. Sraosha Points and works, unerringly to take the universe towards the Final Goal-Frashokereti- the making new of the World. Sraosha’s titles - 1. Salare Damane: Commander in Chief of Ahura Mazda (Sraosh Baaj) 2. Takhmahe Tanu Manthrahe – Body of Manthras-Holy vibration ( Sraosh Baaj). 3. Sraosha Maza Raya, here means Sraosha “of Divine Light”, (Ys 43.12) Sraosha, is the Angel of Obedience & Intuition (internal listening), divine manifestation of obedience to Ahura’s law, within man. To us Zoroastrians Sraóshá or the “angel of inspiration” is very dear. Sraóshá comes from the root “Sru;” to hear, listen, to notice, feel, Intuit. He is the HaMKAR OF Asha Vahishta Amshaspand, together with Atar and Beheram. Therefore, when we always start our kusti prayers with kemna mazda, we pray in the second paragraph: “ At toi vohu Sraosho Jantu Manangha”( Let Sraosh approach with Vohu Mano anyone, whom Thou doest Love-i.e: everybody who prays to HIM). In the Verse 33.5, the first line states that Sraosha is Mazda’s Greatest of all, Thine Own! As per Theosophy, Sraosh is the King of the World, and every prayer, or work of the angels is done through the Commander-in-Chief Sraosha, therefore he is called “ “ Salare-Damane”, i.e: Chief commander of Mazda’s army of Ameshaspentas and Yazats, on this Earth-Geush Urva. In Astronomy Sraosha is synonymous to the unwavering Pole Star, due to his unwavering Obedience to the Eternal Law of Mazda-Asha. By means of using the attributes of Sraosha, guidance from MAZDA can be received in order to make the right decisions to reach the right goals, and once again this affirmation is supported by Zarathushtra who affirms – “Shall listen to your inspiring voice, the greatest of all voices to reach my final goal... Frashokereti. In Yasna 55.22 also, Sraóshá by whose might, victorious power, intuitive knowledge and wisdom, the Auspicious Immortals descend upon this earth of seven quarters, Sraóshá who is the instructor(disö) of revelation and vision, as mentioned in this line of the verse:- “yö daänö disö (Instructor) daänayái (wisdom)”- Instructor of Wisdom! As we read in Yasna 55.7: Sraóshá, who first sang (sráva) the enchanting five Gathas of Zarathushtra, the Spitama, the wise and holy, with their metres, and after the well-constructed order of their words, together with their gnosis (zaiñtí,) and the questions which they utter, and the answers which they give, for the Auspicious Immortals,……. (Thus Gathas are meant to be sung).
