Ceramic containers used for cooking and storing food had great value in the past. To achieve greater resistance to breaking the clay pots or to reinforce any cracks that had occurred, it was necessary to consolidate their outer surface with a wire grating. This work was carried out by itinerant families, although it was also carried out by some crafty men from our towns, as Vicente Marzo Jovellar showed us in 2022 in the town of Caserras de Castillo (Huesca).
