Farewell Virgin Trains|Compilation of Virgin Trains Pendolinos & Super Voyagers 2019
From 7 March 1997 to 9 December 2019 Virgin Trains operated the InterCity West Coast franchise which covered the whole West Coast Main Line. I have made a small compilation of some shots of Virgin Trains Pendolinos and Super Voyagers running in 2019 as a tribute to an operator I have known my whole life. I have chosen some favourites and also some with variety. The last clip is of 1D88 1410 London Euston to Holyhead passing Conwy [CNW] with one of the final Virgin Trains services to Holyhead and the last one I saw. The franchise, now known as West Coast Partnership, is to be operated by FirstGroup and Trenitalia as Avanti West Coast. Hope you enjoy. Farewell Virgin Trains.
