When spadroons are awesome
In the past I have made my dislike for spadroons clear. However, I don't dislike all spadroons - there are some which are good. I have featured a previous sword that I thought qualified as a good spadroon (the French 1882 pattern infantry officer's sword), but which would not be widely regarded as a spadroon.
