【今までで最高の夕日】1泊2日で楽しむ唐松岳。頂上山荘の最高級個室にも泊まってみた。

I climbed Mt. Karamatsu on August 19th and 20th, 2025. The weather forecast was wrong, so I wasn't able to see the starry sky or the sunrise, but I was able to watch the sunset in perfect conditions. It was truly amazing. This was another enjoyable mountain trip, including communicating with the people who were there. Although I didn't include it in the video, I always review the mountain huts I stay at, so I'll write my honest thoughts about Karamatsudake Summit Lodge below. Summit Lodge has by far the most expensive price of all the mountain huts I've stayed at so far. 16,000 yen for one night and two meals is fine, but the private room fee is an additional 18,000 to 23,000 yen. Also, a small bowl of curry that fits in the palm of your hand costs 1,800 yen. Prices continue to rise, and while I'd be happy to accept higher prices if the quality matched, the hospitality often leaves something to be desired. I was particularly disappointed by the young male staff member at the shop, whose customer service attitude reminded me of a convenience store clerk in Tokyo...
