Serving approximately 7,000 students annually throughout Rio de Janeiro, it is completely free, including the provision of printed learning materials for all students. It is an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro State Government, linked to the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation. The subjects offered are Biology, Spanish, Physics, Geography, History, English, Mathematics, Portuguese, Chemistry, and Essay Writing.
