Eddie Japan - Summer Hair

“Summer Hair” was shot on the early morning of Sunday, June 28, 2020 at a section of Scarborough Beach in Rhode Island called Black Point. The location features dramatic ruins of an old stone structure that was a 21-room mansion called Windswept. The ruins provided the perfect backdrop for the sense of memory and loss invoked in the song’s lyrics. Prior to this date, because of the pandemic, the band had not been in each other’s company for months, so shooting the video, like the song, was bittersweet – a brief encounter on a beach and then parting.
