Is It BAD To Have 2 Parrotlets 🦜 In 1 Cage? #Parrot_Bliss

The interesting thing about beliefs is that they can cloud your perception; this means that you are likely to see something that you expect to see- not necessarily what is before you. I was on Facebook and read a thread in which people were saying that you cannot house two Parrotlets together. WHAT? That's crazy! As with any other bird, animal or person, each individual would need to be watched to make sure they are happy, healthy; that their needs for food, water, enrichment (in the case of parrots) and anything else, like exercise, are met. Parrots are social animals; they are in flocks in the wild. They rely on each other, they find a mate and are accustomed to being with another parrot, or another Parrotlet in this case. In my experience, a happy parrot is a parrot that has another companion parrot (not to say that all single parrots are unhappy); and they want to connect with people. If you spend time with your parrots, then two makes it twice as wonderful. If you can't spend hours and hours with your parrot - since they spend all day and night with their flock, I'm sure with some exceptions, then have two so that they keep each other company-- even Parrotlets! --- Have a questions about parrots?
