Luna lives with her mother in a small village on a Caribbean beach. This beautiful piece of land is coveted by Esteban Lombardo, a wealthy businessman who wants to build a hotel complex there. Luna's mother, Victoria Mendoza, refuses to sell her property and receives help from Mauricio García, a young lawyer determined to ruin Lombardo. One day, Luna and Mauricio meet on the beach, and the kiss they share changes their destiny. Unfortunately, Victoria dies tragically during an altercation with a henchman sent to force her to sell her land. Now, Luna becomes the heir to the land, and the local police suspect her of her own mother's murder. She then leaves home and moves to the city, where she moves in with her aunt Beatriz and her family. Her cousin Margarita works at a modeling agency and finds Luna a job as a seamstress. But Luna's life changes radically when fashion designer Danny notices her and sees her as his new model and muse. One night, after her transformation, Luna attends a party at a club, where she runs into Mauricio and makes a strong impression on him. Later that night, she saves Rodrigo's life, unaware that he is the son of Esteban, the source of all his problems. Rodrigo falls in love with Luna and decides to change his life. Meanwhile, Rodrigo's cousins, Paloma, who has feelings for him, and the ambitious and unscrupulous Daniela, who is also Mauricio's mistress, hatch plans to seize all of Esteban's fortune. But Luna's sudden appearance makes her a threat and an immediate enemy.
