Bacterial Leaf Blight Disease Control in Rice crop Field مونجی کی فصل میں پتّوں کے جراثیمی جھلساؤ کی بیماری اور اس کا کنٹرول Bacterial Leaf Blight BLB is caused by a bacterium which is very dangerous to damage crop yield. Upto 70% yield reduction can occur because of this bacterial disease. Disease Symptoms: Disease affect leaves which shows whitish or yellowish streaks. Leaves margins turn white and dry. Leaves Tip begin to dry. Ultimately whole plant get dry and die. Excessive use of nitrogenous fertilizers such as Urea can cause to spread this disease. Bacteria enter plant body through wounds so injury during seedlings pulling or injury due to attack of pests such as leaf folder, grasshopper etc can increase the attack of this disease. Control: Copper base fungicides can give best control on this disease such as spray of Copper oxychloride @ 3 gram per liter of water in rice field.
