The Essence of Mukti - [Hindi with English CC]

Anybody can attain Mukti. One is jeevan mukti and other one is Moksha, which is after death. It is not the karma that brings people back to earth but it is desire that brings them back. If one has no desire at the time of his death, he will not come back. Desire is the only reference point that drags you back, not the karma, otherwise the cycle of karma will never end. The tree of karma will always be giving its fruit. When a person is dying and he is thinking about his family, business, people, things then he is still tied to this world. If he does not desire or think about those things then he is free. The word moksha is made up of “Mo” meaning attachment and “ksha” meaning elimination. The complete eradication of attachment is Moksha. Arjuna asks Sri Krishna, “Who is a Samadhist purush? How does he sit, walk and talk? How does he behave? Sri Krishna says to Arjuna that a human being who does not live for himself, one who has renounced the karma, one who is satisfied and contented, and does not desire anything, one who is indifferent if he stays in gold or mud is a true yogi.
