Hervey Bay to 1770! | Coastal Queensland Road Trip & Eco Camping | Australia Big Lap

In this episode of our Australia Big Lap, we continue north through coastal Queensland, stopping at a series of beautiful seaside towns and hidden gems along the way. We begin in Hervey Bay with a walk along the famous Urangan Pier, where we even spot pelicans perched above the crystal-clear water. From there we continue to Bargara, where I take the GoPro out on an early morning run along the stunning seafront. Next, we stop in Bundaberg for a wander around the CBD before heading further north to Agnes Water and the historic town of 1770, where Captain Cook first landed in Queensland back in 1770. To finish the journey, we spend the night at the unusual but memorable 1770 Eco Camp, hidden away in the forest and unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed so far on the trip. This stretch of Queensland gave us a real feel for Australia’s relaxed coastal lifestyle and showed just how varied the Big Lap experience can be. Join us as we continue our lap around Australia in Skippy the campervan. #AustraliaBigLap #QueenslandRoadTrip #HerveyBay #VanLifeAustralia #australiatravel #automobile #toyotahiace #travel #vanlife #australia #history #australiavlog #museum #campervan
