Explore Turkey 6 Days 5 Nights Our trip to Turkey was a continuation of our independent Umrah. When purchasing Saudia Airlines tickets for our independent Umrah, we applied for a transit Umrah visa, requiring us to list a country other than Saudi Arabia as our destination. Our choice fell on Turkey, with Istanbul as our destination. This was because we had never been to Turkey before, and Turkey offers a plethora of halal food, so we didn't have to worry too much about food. Our trip to Istanbul took in numerous tourist attractions, palaces, historical sites, and iconic grand mosques. Besides Istanbul, we also visited Ephesus, an 8-hour bus ride from Istanbul. Ephesus is an ancient Greek site built in the 2nd century AD, and being here feels like traveling through time.
