Davlat Khuvaydullaev, a resident of the Nurlat district, spent a long time searching for his path, working as a school security guard and in retail. Then he decided that living on his own land meant he needed to also engage in agriculture. His first business in the village was pig farming. But after a while, he had to abandon this venture—it didn't promise success in halal-oriented Tatarstan. He suggested his wife start a dairy farm. They bought 40 cows—specifically choosing simpler animals, not purebreds, to avoid spending money on expensive feed. Soon, the farm grew to 100 cows, producing up to 25 liters of milk daily. Selling it in the cheese-producing Nurlat district turned out to be easy. And the price for the farmer is favorable—45 rubles per liter, compared to the recent 16, which had crippled many farms. Davlat is using the milk money to build his dream business: he raises fish in ponds, bakes charcoal for barbecues, and dreams of a tourist complex where Muscovites will come to relax.
