In Huawei Base Transceiver Stations (BTS), the ALD is responsible for monitoring and managing the antenna system, including components like Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) antennas or Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMA). When this alarm is triggered, it means the BTS is unable to communicate with the ALD, leading to a potential loss of remote control and monitoring over the antenna system. In this video we followed some important steps. 1: First Login to BTS3900 & BTS3910. 2: Then Check ALD Maintenance Link Failure Alarm weather the Alarms related to TMA & RET. 3: For Checking ALD Maintenance Link Failure Alarm double Click on Alarm and Scrol down there you will see the Alarm Related to TMA or Ret here you will see the Slot No Subrack No Cabinet No and Device No of active alarm of Sector. 4: After Checking Alarm you need to Scan TMA and RET that the Serial No of the TMA or Serail No will scaned or not. IF the TMA or RET doesnot Scan it means there is and issue in feeder line maybe the Jumper sawaped with between RF Antenna Port A and RF Antenna Port B OR the TMA or RET cable is faulty. 5:For Checking Device No, Device Name Subrack No Cabinet No Slot No LST TMA & DSP TMA command is used. 6: For Checking Serial of TMA No LST TMA & SCN ALD Command is used. 7: Ald Maintenance link Failure Alarm can clear by removing TMA & RET But it effects the Network and RTWP Values will be change Maybe RTWP Alarm will active. 8 For Deleting TMA RMV TMA command is used. 9: For adding TMA ADD TMA command is used while Adding RET ADD RET Command is used.
