Along the way, we made some memorable stops, including a burger break at Yaks on the 5 in Dunsmuir, a quick hike to the hidden gem of Hedge Creek Falls, and a visit to Rogue Creamery in Central Point to stock up on cheese and charcuterie for the holiday. Our destination was Silver Falls State Park, where we stayed in one of the park's cozy cabins and spent the day exploring the famous Trail of Ten Falls. With towering waterfalls, mossy forests, and trails that pass behind several of the falls, it's easy to see why this is one of Oregon's most beloved hiking destinations. Back at the cabin, we slowed things down with family time, Thanksgiving nachos, a Rogue Creamery charcuterie spread, and plenty of outdoor exploration for the kids.
