Finally CAUGHT my First Maryland SNEAKHEAD of 2026 Catch & Cook!!

This year the Snakehead bite in Maryland has been weird to say the least. Heck, I haven't even seen a Bass yet. This day, I joined my brother Max out on is Boat (the Chicken Necker). We tried a new body of water to start the day. We saw a few nice fish. I had one crush my subsurface frog close to the boat. I snapped my 40lb braid setting the hook. It SUCKED! After a few hours we tried a different river we've has success in the past. At the end of the day, I had another chance. This time I pinned her. It was a big fat snakehead. She jumped and everything. It was the only fish landed. I brought her home to share with the wife. We turned my first snakehead of 2026 into a little catch & cook!
