Pharrell Williams - Happy WE ARE FROM DUNDEE, SCOTLAND - Happy Dundee

We are male, female, young, not-so-young and multi-national. And we are all happy to be living in the wonderful city of Dundee. That's the message of a video project which shows dozens of Dundonians dancing their hearts out, laughing, singing and smiling along to Pharrell Williams' hit single "Happy". Produced by Gary Robinson from Wave 102 and directed by Scott Sigsworth, the four-minute video is infectious and its unashamedly positive message will be sure to go viral on YouTube, the world and around Dundee. Just try and watch some of the other videos from other countries and city's without smiling -- you'll fail. Aside from making you grin, the point of the video is to show that Dundonians are just as happy, eclectic, cosmopolitan, diverse, creative, fun and outgoing as anyone else. This video is joining the global movement of happiness inspired by Pharrell. It's part of something that we as Dundonians can find ourselves relating to: happiness. We, too, are happy people, and we would like to share with the world a message of happiness. That happiness movement and Pharrell's happiness day collaboration with the United Nations inspired Gary and Scott, to hit the road and film ordinary happy Dundonians from all over the city dancing to the hit.
