What really surprised me was how relevant the themes still feel in 2026. It's almost unsettling how accurately this song reflects some of the struggles, divisions, and darkness that still exist today. That's the power of great songwriting—it transcends generations. Slayer continues to prove why they're considered one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Every time I think I know what to expect, they show me another side of their greatness.
