how to make sweet and sour sauce[ASMR] Ingredients: • 500g pork tenderloin • 10g ginger • A little green onion (optional) • A little white sesame (optional) Marinate the Pork: • 1 tbsp rice wine, 1 tsp light soy sauce • 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp white pepper, 30ml water • Mix well until the pork absorbs all the liquid, marinate for 10 minutes Make the Sauce: • 3 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar • 1 tsp light soy sauce, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp corn starch • 150ml water, stir to combine Prepare the Batter: • 100g corn starch + 85ml water (~1.2:1) • Stir until smooth and slightly stretchy • Add 1 tsp cooking oil and mix • Toss the batter with the pork until evenly coated Fry the Pork: • Heat oil over medium-high to 180℃ (360℉) • Add pork • Fry until the surface sets, gently move pieces (~1 min) • Fry until lightly golden, remove (~2 min) Double-Fry for Extra Crispiness: • Heat oil to 180℃ (360℉) • Fry until golden (~1 min) Cook Sweet & Sour Pork: • Medium heat, hot oil • Add minced ginger, stir until fragrant • Pour in sauce, cook until thickened • Add fried pork, toss to coat • Sprinkle with sesame and green onion (optional) 💡 Note: 1 tsp = 5ml, 1 tbsp = 15ml
