He has therefore decided to take his painful experience as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and offer his services to those who, like him, have a difficult past to come to terms with. Gabriele's calm voice explains what it means to grow up after experiencing violence, but he also warns of how difficult it is to discuss these issues with a society that is not yet ready to listen, because abuse and its perpetrators still remain a strong taboo.
