The Hillman Husky: A Journey Through Time

The Hillman Husky, produced from 1954 to 1970 by the Rootes Group, was a compact station wagon designed for both family and commercial use, based on the Hillman Minx and later the Hillman Imp. It went through three generations, evolving from a simple, utilitarian estate to a more modern design with improved engines and rear-mounted power in its final version. Known for its practicality and versatility, the Husky was popular with small businesses and families before production ended in 1970.
