🇮🇹 Italian Tiramisu Semifreddo recipe: silky, light semi-frozen dessert with the taste of Tiramisu

Hi! I'm Cassandre, today's episode is about a very simple, yet elegant and delicious summer dessert: Tiramisu Semifreddo. Climatologists predict that 2023 may be the hottest year in the world 😱 (but it feels like every year is the hottest year). In the face of high temperatures, it is essential to have some delicious ice cream to beat the heat. The recipe I'd like to share is Semifreddo, an Italian dessert that can be easily made as a frozen dessert, kind of like a lazy person's ice cream. Tiramisu and Semifreddo are two Italian classics, and this recipe is a mix of the two, with Semifreddo's flavors varying from classic almond-nut to summertime fruit flavors in a very free style. All you need is a whipping tool, a whipping bowl and a pound cake mold to get it done. Here is the recipe and recipe for Italian Tiramisu Semifreddo: ☞ Semifreddo container: 17 cm x 8 cm x 6 cm rectangular baking mold ✎ Ingredients Mascarpone 65g Whipping cream 125g Condensed milk 80g Espresso 15ml, for the filling Rum 15ml Espresso 65ml, for ladyfingers ladyfingers 9 cookies , different sizes will use different amount Unsweetened cocoa powder to taste ✎ Ingredients 1. Spread vegetable oil evenly in the baking mold and line with plastic wrap, the oil will help the wrap stay in place. 2. Pour 65ml of espresso and 15ml of rum into a container and stir well. 3. Beat the mascarpone cheese on medium-low speed until it is smooth and creamy, about one minute. 4. Add the whipping cream and beat on medium speed until soft peaks form. 5. Add condensed milk and espresso, mix at low speed, then beat at medium speed until stiff peaks form. 6. Pour ⅓ of the filling into the baking mold and spread it out roughly. 6. Quickly dip both sides of the ladyfinger into the rum coffee mixture and place them neatly on top of the filling. 7. Pour in the ⅓ filling and top with another layer of ladyfingers 8. Pour in the rest of the ⅓ filling, smooth out the top, and freeze in the refrigerator overnight, or at least six hours. You can apply a wrung out hot towel or dip it in hot water for a few seconds to help release it from the mold.
