Our presenter, Dr. Kauê de Sousa, PhD in Applied Ecology and Biotechnology from Inland University, Norway, is an expert in agricultural innovation. Since joining the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT in 2016, he has focused on farm innovation and experimentation, data integration, software development, the agriculture-food interface, climate change adaptation and social development studies. With over a decade of experience in international agricultural research, Dr. de Sousa has made significant contributions to various areas aimed at transforming food systems. Kauê has played a key role in mainstreaming the tricot approach, a digitally supported method for on-farm testing in Africa, which has benefited over 30 teams across 15 African countries.
