How to Conquer a Dragon | Revelation | Pastor Eric Marvin

In Week 8 of our Revelation 2026 series, Pastor Eric Marvin walks through Revelation 12 and one of the most symbolic chapters in the entire book. John is given a new vision featuring a woman, a child, and a great red dragon. While the imagery may seem strange at first, Revelation 12 reveals a much bigger story: the conflict between God's kingdom and the forces of evil throughout history. Pastor Eric explains how this chapter differs from the chronological events surrounding it and instead zooms out to show God's redemptive plan unfolding across generations. Through this vision, we see God's people, the coming of Jesus Christ, Satan's opposition, and the ultimate victory won through the sacrifice of the Lamb. On Father's Day, this message also highlights the example of God the Father as protector and provider. Just as God faithfully protects and nourishes His people, fathers are called to sacrificially lead, provide for, and protect their families. The world teaches that victory comes through strength, power, and self-reliance. Revelation 12 teaches something radically different. Evil is ultimately defeated through the blood of Christ and faithful obedience to Him.
