And involving these three entities hasn't been done," he said. Askar then questioned the government's rationale for choosing a management scheme through foundations and vendors. According to him, if management were carried out directly by schools or communities, there would be no economic benefits as currently seen. "Why go through large vendors? Because if it goes through schools or communities, there's no interest, no Rp 6 million per day, no money received by the owners of those large kitchens affiliated with policymakers," he said.
