We drove the new full-size SUV from Mercedes-Benz. The new Mercedes-Benz GLS (X166) features subtle changes compared to its predecessor, the GL-Class. We drove the base engine, the GLS 350d 4Matic, but also gave a preview of the more powerful models. We covered everything from the design changes and the spaciousness to the technical advantages of the full-size SUV. The only competitor in Europe, by the way, is the Cadillac Escalade.
