Even more than 7,000 kilometers from the Herring City, history of Vlaardingen can be found. Plantation Vlaardingen used to be located in Suriname, east of the capital Paramaribo. Brian Silos wanted to know more and made three trips to find the plantation. Silos made a documentary about his search in Suriname.
