China's largest, most intelligent petrochemical industrial base completed
Chinese state oil giant Sinopec has recently completed construction on the country's largest and most intelligent petrochemical industrial base in east China's Ningbo city. The Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Base, spanning more than 23 square kilometers, has achieved zero emissions and is viewed as a standard in China's ongoing green transformation. The refinery also produces SAF, sustainable aviation fuel, made by recycling discarded cooking oil. Currently it can process 100,000 tons per year, roughly equivalent to the cooking oil that could be collected from the restaurant industry in a city with 10 million people. With the completion of the project, the total refining capacity in Ningbo city has exceeded 50 million tons. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
