Inauguración Plaza de la Constitución en Ciudad Juan Bosch

Justices Miguel Aníbal Valera Montero, First Substitute to the President of the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic (TCRD), Fidias F. Aristy Payano, and Amaury A. Reyes Torres attended the inauguration of Plaza Constitución, located in Ciudad Juan Bosch. During the inaugural ceremony for this project, built by the Trust for the Construction of Low-Cost Housing in the Dominican Republic (VBC-RD Trust), Justice Aristy Payano, on behalf of the Constitutional Court, expressed his gratitude for this space, which he described as an exemplary expression, for the Dominican people and for this community, of the respect due to the Constitution of the Republic. Also participating was former President of this high court, Milton Ray Guevara, who emphasized that Plaza Constitución should remind us of the respect and love due to the country's "institutional bible," since its ignorance and violation can only lead to sterile confrontations and collective suffering. Among those in attendance were the Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza; Camel Curi Lora, executive director of the VBC-RD Trust; Dio Astacio, mayor of Santo Domingo East; Governor Lucrecia Santana; and Juan Pablo Uribe, president of the Permanent Commission of Patriotic Anniversaries.
