The artisan soul—all human beings are artists and creatives. Hebrews 11:1-3 says: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.” By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Why do human beings need faith to please God? Faith makes us human. We are the only beings created by God who do not have a direct intention. Because it gives us hope for what God can give us in the future. What is the intention (purpose) of human beings when they do things? Unlike animals, which are created to perform a function (e.g., bees create hives), God gave us the capacity as human beings to create the future naturally. We must challenge ourselves to create the future God wants for us, a future of love, compassion, and life. God created us to believe; we live to create a future. Through imagination, God gives us the capacity to find the ideas that allow us to create, and we can create because we are able to hear God's voice in our minds, and He paints us with love through His Son, Jesus.
