SHEENA EASTON Strut EXTENDED VIDEO DANCE MIX

An alltime favourite pop song from Scottish beauty Sheena Easton. I was hooked immediately in 1981 when 9 to 5 (Morning Train) was a #1 hit downunder and I followed Sheena's career for another decade; then briefly when she staged something of a comeback later in the 90's/early 00's. 'Strut' was one of her bigger successes, some 4 years into her career and earned her a Grammy nomination. The track was a Top 10 in America, Canada, New Zealand but missed the Top 10 in Australia although it achieved a respectable #13 and spent 5 months in the charts. Bizarrely it missed the British Top 100 altogether with the singer missing in action between 1983 and 1988 entirely on the U.K Top 40! I am a lot impartial to the pair of songs Sheena recorded for the 'About Last Night' soundtrack in 1986 - 'So far so good' & 'Natural love' but 'Strut' is my favourite Sheena Easton recording. It just kicks butt! I've used the extended dance mix to re-edit the original performance clip of 'Strut'.
