Hoover Runabout (Elite) U4258-930 Upright Vacuum

This is my Hoover Runabout upright vacuum (from 2000), model U4258-930, that I bought on eBay. I really love Hoover Elite uprights and always like to snatch one up whenever a good looking one comes across my path, and this one I actually bought locally at a Goodwill for pretty cheap, and all it needed was just a simple cleanup and unclogging of the on board hose. This is interestingly the same model as my blue Runabout that I also have (   • Hoover Runabout (Elite) U4253-930 Upright ...  ), so there definitely was a color difference depending on what year the vacuum was sold. This does come with an on board hose mounted on the back on the vacuum and wraps around the top which is a thing for lower end Elite style Hoover uprights back then. The only attachment that came with this vacuum was the dusting brush which I will eventually find some replacement attachments for, so just for the sake of this video, I robbed some attachments from my other vacuums just to do this video and demo all of the attachments that normally come with this. It features a 7 amp motor with direct air design and takes Hoover Type A bags (this example is running the Hepa bags that are available but a big pricey but worth it in the filtration and increased performance). The suction is not the best (especially in tool mode), but the airflow is fantastic, and the agitation is amazing (even though I still personally am not a big fan of the CWP replacement brush rolls). My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite loud when in use, and can sometimes be very vulnerable when using since it's entirely made out of plastic (meaning if you such up something like a marble, screw, or nut, you could run the risk of damaging the fan and/or the housing, so I don't recommend you doing that). Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum and is certainly better than anything Hoover makes today.
