Is Rubio Monocoat the perfect coating for a Greenland Paddle?
I've been blown away by the durability of Rubio Monocoat on all my household building projects, so this week we are trying it out on a Greenland Paddle. Will this hold up to the ravages of salt and sunlight better than Tung oil? I think it will, but only time will tell. Please share your experience if you decide to give Rubio a try. Check out our video learning platform at https://cape-falcon-kayak.thinkific.com/ for a FREE course on building your own greenland paddle. For more skin on frame kayak building videos check us out at http://capefalconkayaks.com and follow us at / capefalconbuilds where we post a daily build blog of what we're working on in the shop, including time lapse videos!
