St John’s Church: Built in 1877-8, this beautiful church is a cornerstone of the village’s heritage. Walk with me to discover the village's Bronze Age, Roman, and later historical settlements. There were 37 poll-tax payers recorded in West Overton in 1377 and the population in 1801 was 172 residents. Many 18th-century roads and lanes were still visible as tracks in 1977. Overton Manor House: A stunning 16th and 17th-century manor house near the church, featuring a tile-hung upper floor and a red brick former barn.
