A Final Tribute to Rec Room

happy graduation day! Twitter »   / billehbawb   Instagram »   / bvr_rr   some notes: I regret a couple points in this video where I use hyperbole and say things like "x decision was genuinely so STUPID and INSANE!!!" I think there were some decisions I certainly disagree with, but I also think these decisions were still done with some logic behind them and I don't think anyone making them was stupid. it's not an easy ship to steer and I don't want to act like I'm the magic person who knows all the correct answers lol. I wish I wrote the wording to be a little more grounded in these moments. I am aware this video has some issues, specifically with my mic quality (my index mic has slowly degraded over the last 6 years). this video was made on a pretty extreme time crunch for the scope of it so some imperfections slipped through the cracks that I simply ran out of time to deal with. my mentality when making this was that good enough is better than nothing, so I just had to ignore some things even if I was unhappy with them. that being said this is by far my longest video I've ever made and I'm super proud that I was able to finish it in time. I spent probably 12 hours a day for the last 2 weeks finishing this project and I hope I was able to convey my feelings! some of you may be wondering what happens to this channel after this video. full disclosure, my next video will be a sponsored, non-rec room video. sorry in advance if that leaves a bad taste in anyone's mouth after this "finale" lol. after that video, I don't have any immediate plans to keep making content. however, I do plan on continuing to do gamedev stuff and if I ever want to make videos related to that, this channel is probably where that would go. as for now, I plan on resuming sonic uploads to my other channel @BillehBawb so you can follow me on there and twitter to stay updated on my future stuff! thank you to draw, angle, mwike, star, and slat for acting in my stupid sinking ship metaphor segments! some wording choices and structure decisions for this video were inspired by this article from a community member that summed things up in a way I felt was stronger than any other "retrospective" id seen at the time. check it out: https://blog.9021007.xyz/goodnight-re...
