Spring Succulent Cutting to Optimize Propagation in Growing Season

Here in Ohio, succulents grow the best outside from April to October. Last year I cut succulents around this time to optimize growth on the stems through the summer. Today, I cut some of the succulents that I grew last summer and saved the stems once again. Some Succulents I cut because they’ve developed a longer stem than what is preferred in our succulent designs. This is the optimal time to cut anything since the stems and leaves will grow new plants much faster in the summer. I will place all of cut stems on the ground under a tree on the Northwest corner of my house.
