Holocaust Survivor Stories - Erna Anolik
Ernestine “Erna” Roth Anolik, z”l was graduating high school in Uzhorod, Czechoslovakia (now Ukraine) when she and her family were forced from their home and sent to Auschwitz. Erna survived two concentration camps, including forced labor at the Krupp Ammunition Factory, before liberation in 1945. Prior to this interview, Erna had never talked about her experiences in detail. Recognizing the importance of recording her story to educate future generations about the horrors that occurred, Erna sat down with the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation in 1996 to record her testimony
