June Lull Salmon Fishing on Lake Michigan... Then the Sunset Bite Hit!

We headed out of Port Sheldon on Lake Michigan for an early June evening troll knowing full well this time of year can be tough… but the weather was too perfect to stay off the water. Joined by my brother-in-law, my nephew, and my youngest daughter, we chased salmon and trout as the sun dropped—and it paid off right at sunset! In this video, I show exactly how we caught all 3 fish and detail the depths and the lure setups. If you fish Lake Michigan, you know early summer can be hit or miss. Hopefully this gives you a few ideas for your next trip when the conditions look great but the bite is uncertain. Nothing better than a calm evening, family on board, and rods firing at sunset. 📍 Location: Port Sheldon, Lake Michigan 🎣 Target Species: Salmon & Trout 🗓️ Season: Early June If you enjoy Great Lakes fishing content, make sure to like, subscribe, and drop a comment with what’s working for you right now! #LakeMichiganFishing #SalmonFishing #TroutFishing #PortSheldon #GreatLakesFishing #TrollingForSalmon #FishingWithFamily #MichiganFishing #EarlySummerFishing Chapters: 00:00:00 – Intro 00:00:39 – Finally Some Fish! 00:03:34 – Outro
