U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Gabriel "Journee" Estrella

🇺🇸 Home. 🇺🇸 U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Gabriel "Journee" Estrella has landed on American soil for the final time, beginning his last journey home. On June 15th, our nation lost a hero when a B-52 Stratofortress crashed shortly after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base during a routine test mission. Lt. Col. Estrella, 40, served with distinction as a Weapon Systems Officer with the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, Detachment 5, at Edwards AFB. Today, he came home — met with the honor, reverence, and love that a hero deserves.
