We were informed that another company had previously carried out waterproofing work on the rooftop terrace before our visit. However, that company reportedly proposed dismantling the entire bathroom to replace the pipes, claiming there was a problem with the hot water piping, and suggested replacing the entire bathroom because the waterproofing layer was also damaged. The estimated cost was 7 million won. While the client might have been willing to pay for the work if the diagnosis of the leak cause was accurate, they did not fully trust the previous company. Therefore, they selected us for a precise inspection. The results were shocking. The reason the pressure dropped in the hot water system was that tiny droplets of water were forming at the flow control valve. Due to a misdiagnosis, the client nearly ended up wasting over 7 million won on unnecessary repairs. The first leak site ended on a disappointing note, but the second site was a sewer pipe leak located in Songpa-gu.
