Chrono Trigger | Welcome to Guardia | Pt.1

The day is finally here and I feel like a kid on Christmas morning with all the excitement from getting to share this first Chrono Trigger playthrough with yall!!! There is something so magical about playing a game from 30 years ago on original hardware, but more than that... this game is magic itself. The moment that music played in our bedroom at the start I knew this game would steal my heart. I felt at home instantly from the controls to the combat which made a world of a difference, but I also think the instruction booklet helped with that too! I found the writing and physical movements of the characters to be so intentional that I didn't have any trouble understanding the emotions they were trying to convey and, in some ways, I prefer this style. I have to mention as well that the story is truly compelling... I mean, time travel and saving the world??? I can't wait to see where this story goes and a huge thank you for the recommendations, because I don't know if I ever would've experienced this beautiful game if it hadn't been for yall 💛 Here's to experiencing many more beautiful worlds and adventures on the SNES!
