Pone Kingpetch SD15 Hiroyuki Ebihara II

Kingpetch regains the World Flyweight Championship, but not without some controversy. Like he did after a different one-sided and devastating loss to a Japanese fighter, Thai legend Pone Kingpetch worked doubly hard in the rematch against Ebihara, who had previously levelled Pone inside a round, and managed to make it a lot more competitive than the first time round, as he had also done against Harada. Some paint this as a definite robbery, although from the footage here (a few rounds missing) it's evident that Kingpetch makes it very close. I give the decision the benefit of the doubt here. Ebihara is occasionally sloppy. The Japanese conceded after the bout he had not had a good night and felt he had lost. Maybe he should've been awared a knockdown at one point (as Harada should've done a few times in his rematch) but regardless of how the fight actually went down, the Thai deserves kudos to taking rounds from a brilliant fighter, and fearsome puncher, such as Ebihara.
