This State Park in New York Feels Unreal

Letchworth State Park is often called the Grand Canyon of the East, and after spending a couple of days here—we understand why. We camped inside the park and spent the day exploring the famous Gorge Trail, hiking to all three major waterfalls and soaking in some of the best canyon views on the East Coast. For lunch, we stopped at the historic Glen Iris Inn, one of the most scenic dining spots in New York. Back at camp, we built a fire and Kellie cooked chili for dinner, ending the day under the trees. The next morning, we left the park and drove 50 minutes to Canadice Lake for a peaceful day of paddle boarding on one of the most pristine, undeveloped lakes in the region. This is waterfall chasing, canyon hiking, camp cooking, and lake life all wrapped into one unforgettable New York adventure.
