1ST Place Whistler EWS Race Day POV!

Stage 1 was hard to race because it got so blown out from practice and I'm used to it being way different! Stage 2 was jank and rocky so I went careful up top and hammered the bottom. Stage 3 was long and sick and I tried to build into the stage, then disaster struck and I felt my tire go flat. I tried to nurse it on the rough stuff and corner well to carry speed, I had to pedal really hard to keep the speed up and somehow didn't lose too much time. Stage 4 I have no idea how my plugged tire held for this stage but I kept waiting for it to lose air. Stage 5 I babied the the tire in all the g-out corners and then pedalled and carried speed as much as I could. So stoked my tire held and I could finish the race.
