'Dive' - Olivia Dean | James Croxton

Hey guys! I'm back once again with another one of my session portfolio videos where I aim to authentically recreate recorded performances by artists who inspire me or give my take on their music. This time I’m playing 'Dive' by the amazingly talented Olivia Dean. This song is really beautiful lyrically and harmonically. I love adding my own guitar parts to songs like these as a "What would I have played on this session?" approach. As always, I'm looking at reinforcing the harmony, adding some lush parts and serving the song. Simplicity is key and I really think my parts have lifted the song quite nicely whilst leaving space. Please support me by liking, commenting and subscribing to the channel. And please don't hesitate to follow me on instagram! It all goes a long way and I appreciate it massively. There are big things on the way! As always, thank you for watching and thank you to any new viewers and subscribers - the exposure really helps!
