Ruined or Repaired? | Mending Roulette #1

Repairing (or completely ruining) a wool jacket using a roulette wheel of random mending techniques. I was looking for something cosy to wear at home during power outages this winter (special fun to live in Ukraine during winter), so I bought a second-hand wool jacket with a few sad holes and absolutely no plan to fix them. Then I thought: why not test some mending techniques I've never tried before? This jacket looked like the perfect first patient. In this video, I'm testing a new format: I spin a wheel to pick a visible mending technique, then spin it again for a bonus material (for extra challenge and fun). My creative anxiety usually eats me up when I have to choose a direction, so I decided to trust the wheel with the fate of this jacket. I'm wearing it at home anyway, right? Plus, perfection is highly overrated. This is episode #1 of the roulette experiment, so please let me know in the comments: should I continue this format and keep saving old clothes? And would you actually wear this jacket? 😄 #visiblemending #mendingroulette #mending #darning #slowfashion #upcycling #thriftflip #sustainablefashion #notalkingvideo #darning #fiberart #satisfying #handmade #clothingrepair #beadembroidery #cozyvideo #secondhand #slowcraft #slowstitching #asmrsewing #oddlysatisfyingvideo #madeinprogress
