Estate of Mind

When I created this track, it felt more like the soundtrack to staring out the window on a gloomy winter day. Still, I paired it with these videos I took at the beautiful Lake Iseo in Italy. The sampled song is called Estate, which translates to Summer in Italian. The original song was written in 1960 by Italian jazz pianist Bruno Martino and lyricist Bruno Brighetti. It was originally titled Odio l'estate ("I Hate Summer") because the lyrics express the bitter pain of a lost love that returns to memory during the summer.
