The Massachusetts Monster - 1953 Worcester F4 Tornado
On Tuesday June 9, 1953 an unprecedented severe weather event impacted Massachusetts. A monster F4 tornado would traverse the Massachusetts landscape for 46 miles and lasted over one hour. The tornado would claim 94 lives, injure 1,288 people and millions of dollars in damages. In this video we take a deep look at this terrible event and what led up to it, hoping to understand what happened during New England's deadliest tornado outbreak.
