I experienced the strangest country customs control I've ever seen in my life, asking myself what kind of border is this. What happened to me on the Peruvian Ecuadorian border was pure comedy. First, I involuntarily smuggled into Ecuador. Then I realized the situation and went to the Peruvian side. I found the customs gate I had to go to and entered Ecuador legally. I spent a few hours in the border city of Ecuador. I had a little chat and dinner with the locals. As soon as I stepped into the country, I started trying Ecuadorian street food.
